Eating Lobster @ Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Suppers (Prince Edward Island)

9:57 AM

This is one of my older postings from my visit to the PEI. Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Suppers is one of the more popular Lobster Suppers restaurants in the area. The good thing about this version was that it was opened for lunch (since the others don't). This place was very popular with tourists and tour buses.

Food Rating: 4/5
Service: Self Service

Atmosphere:
Very similar decor to St Glasgow Lobster Supper Restaurant. There was about 500 seats available - so you don't have to worry about finding a table. The style of the restaurant was dining hall with wooden tables and chairs. There was one 60 foot long self serving island at one end of the restaurant to get your foods (other than lobster).

Service:
You pay for your meal ticket at the front entrance depending on what lobster size you want and a waitress would seat you in an area. Your only interaction with the server was to claim the lobster meal when ready.

Food Comments:
The food was good. They had the long self serving island full of salads, breads, desserts, PEI blue mussels, drinks and desserts. It is all you can eat style (AYCE) except lobster. The mussels weren't as hot compared to the other restaurant but still taste the same. The lobster was good too here and still comparable to the other Lobster Suppers restaurant.

The dessert was much better here and had a lot more selection (including the special milk ice cream).
 Would I come back? Yes
