Eating @ BoomBurger (Prince Edward Island)

11:38 AM

This was my first time visiting Prince Edward Island (located on the eastern coast of Canada). I had booked a hotel somewhere in the area and the first stop for dinner this night was at Boom Burger. The flight was late and we were arriving late into Charlottetown. I was so glad that the restaurant was open. I was kind of surprised to find Charlottetown really small in comparison to the districts within Toronto.

Food Rating: 4/5
Service: Self Service

Atmosphere:
Very spacious and clean inside. We found potato bags in the middle of the restaurant.

Food Comments:
The restaurant style is very similar to Five Guy’s, specializing in the burgers. The ingredients were locally sourced (fresh cut potatoes from PEI and cheese from "COWS"). We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with everything on it (grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato etc). In addition, we also ordered special of the lobster roll with locally sourced lobster!

Overall, the meal was delicious and tasty. The lobster meat was just so generous (Buster Sea Cove just cannot compete with this). The meal was kind of above pricing compared to other burger places.

Would I come back again? Yes.
